Job Title: Structural Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer with experience in structural engineering and knowledge of the mining and bulk material handling industries. This role offers the opportunity to support complex engineering projects in a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural components using RISA 3D software.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers to develop solutions for mining and bulk material handling projects.
• Utilize CAD, Advanced Steel, and Solidworks for project design and implementation.
• Mentor interns and junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  
  

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 0-6 years of experience in structural engineering, including internships.
• Proficiency in RISA 3D software.
• Knowledge of mining and bulk material handling industries.
• EIT, PE, or SE certification.
  
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with CAD, Advanced Steel, and Solidworks.
• Ability to work on international projects and collaborate with global colleagues.
• Passion for environmental responsibility and sustainable productivity.
  
  

Work Environment

The position will initially be fully in-office, transitioning to a hybrid environment with work-from-home options on Mondays and Fridays. The structural engineering team consists of four members, and there is no travel required for this role. The role is not client-facing to start but may involve client interaction in the future if desired. The company offers a small company feel backed by the resources of a large organization, providing opportunities for professional growth and development.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.00/hr.
