At Wilson Composites India LLP, we are manufacturers of custom architectural fiberglass (FRP) and GFRC products for the commercial construction industry. We specialize in design, engineering, and fabrication.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, with a minimum expectation of 45 hours per week. Late evening hours are required occasionally to have an overlap with the U.S.-based team.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design analysis and coordination:
• Reviewing and extracting engineering information from project drawings
• Analysing using design engineering / Finite Element Analysis software packages (like STAAD Pro, SolidWorks, Hyper mesh, etc.)
• Preparing engineering design computations, sketches, and final design drawings
• Providing design solutions to ensure all pieces manufactured have a robust design and load bearing capacity
• Coordinating with Engineering Manager to ensure work is completed with adherence to cost and specific timelines
• Liasoning with suppliers / their design teams when required, to mitigate design issues
• Conduct calculations of pressures, loads and stresses
• Well versed with steel detailing / US projects

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s / master’s degree (ideal)

Areas of Experience:

• 3 to 6 years of working in design engineering especially in the construction industry.
• Working experience in GFRC/FRP project preferred.
• Knowledge of facade systems, facade design and materials manufacture, will be an advantage

Special skills/requirements:

• People skills and a problem solver.
• Proficient in latest versions of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Proficient at multi-tasking. Courteous and friendly communicator

Work Experience: (3-6 years)

Salary: (Rs. 8 lakhs - 10 lakhs) per annum
