You have proven work experience in Industrials companies including Manufacturing, Chemicals, and Aerospace & Defense. You are a problem solver who understands how historically non-digital native companies can embrace the digital era. You are a clear and effective communicator, and you have an open, relatable manner with clients and colleagues. You perform well in an agile, fast-paced working environment. You know how to balance being a leader with contributing to the collective efforts of the team.

* Passionate about helping clients solve complex challenges and supporting them through critical transformations
* Able to lead digital transformation initiatives helping industrial clients transition from traditional business models to offerings that are digital, data-driven, and bought and sold as-a-service
* Work with clients to define and implement strategies that leverage AI, IoT, and analytics to unlock new revenue streams and operational efficiencies
* Leverage deep Industrials industry knowledge and experience to collaboratively define digital solutions that align with the unique operational needs and cultures of Industrials clients
* Provide thought leadership on trends in digital transformation within Industrial sectors, positioning Accenture as a trusted advisor for emerging business models
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for further growth and value creation within existing and new client engagements

The work:
The Industrials & Digital Transformation Strategy Senior Manager will apply their deep industry expertise to impact clients sales, commerce, and digital functions through:
Thought Leadership
* Ability to understand client needs, develop new strategies, and deliver high impact solutions that deliver value to clients
* Provide thought leadership on trends in digital transformation within Industrial sectors, positioning Accenture as a trusted advisor for emerging business models
* Grow your expertise and coach junior team members to help Accenture maintain its thought-leadership position
Delivery Execution
* Lead digital transformation initiatives helping industrial clients transition from traditional business models to offerings that are digital, data-driven, and bought and sold as-a-service
* Work with clients to define and implement strategies that leverage advanced data management, AI, IoT, and analytics to unlock new revenue streams and operational efficiencies
* Drive change within client organizations by aligning stakeholders, improving digital fluency, and navigating the challenges faced by non-digital native organizations
* Manage project delivery teams, ensuring the successful implementation of digital strategies and solutions that meet client expectations for timeline, budget, and quality
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for further growth and value creation within existing and new client engagements
Sales & Origination
* Originate, qualify, and close new sales opportunities for Accenture with our Industrials clients, including B2B digital, commerce, sales, experience, and supporting (e.g. Lead to Order, Offer Management, Pricing/Quoting, Sales Strategy, Compensation) capabilities
* Drive pipeline opportunities from idea to contract to implementation, leveraging the best across Accenture (Song, Strategy & Consulting, Technology, Operations)
* Manage performance and profitability of sold deals, and identify opportunities for extension, cross-sell or up-sell
Qualification
Here's what you'll need:
* 12+ years of Industrials industry experience including Manufacturing, Chemicals, and Aerospace & Defense in sales, operations, product, strategy, or transformation roles.
* A robust understanding of the industry, including market trends and challenges, digital offerings, and emerging business models
* 4+ years of experience with:
* Making strategic decisions or recommendations for critical experiences, products or services of the organization (and/or)
* Providing enterprise level business or technology advisory all the way to the CEO, COO, CRO, and/or CIO/CTO
Bonus points if you have:
* A robust understanding of the industry, including market trends and challenges, digital offerings, and emerging business models
* An MBA or equivalent graduate degree
* Familiarity with cloud platforms, AI/ML, IoT technologies, and data analytics tools
* Experience with SaaS pricing models, subscription-based revenue models, and digital service offerings in an industrial context
* Experience working within large consulting firms or leading strategic digital initiatives for Industrial clients
* Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, including compelling story telling skills, highlighting of a large change or transformation to an executive audience
* Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills, including experience working on multiple products or deals at the same time
* Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
* You are bringing an existing network of relationships within the industry at decision making levels (MD, VP or up)
* Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington as set forth below.
