Summary

A leader in the retail space. The Group Strategy team is seeking a Strategy Manager. This role is central to positioning the business as a world-class retailer, working alongside senior stakeholders to define and execute the organization’s strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Insight Development: Leverages fact-based insights to shape and inform business strategies that drive impactful decision-making.
  • Analytical Problem Solving: Approaches complex business challenges with hypothesis-driven problem-solving to support strategic initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partners closely with leaders across the organization, acting as a strategic thought partner to ensure alignment and execution of business goals.
  • Team Development: Contributes to a high-performance culture within the Group Strategy team, fostering a collaborative and growth-focused environment.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 4-6 years post-degree experience, preferably from a top tier consulting firm or in house strategy team (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Kearney, LEK, Oliver Wyman)
  • Bachelor of Commerce (or equivalent), with an MBA, CPA, or similar business qualification viewed as advantageous.
  • Demonstrates strong capabilities in complex problem-solving, using advanced analytical tools and techniques.
  • Proven track record in managing projects and teams, along with cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Adept at crafting and delivering board-level presentations and reports for senior stakeholders.
