We are looking for a
Strategy & Business Development Analyst to join our team. You will play a crucial part in overseeing the landscape of the Food & Beverage Ingredients industry. You will develop insights, reports, and recommendations to guide strategic development plans.
You will be based in Kemptthal and report directly to the Director of Strategy and Business Development.
You will:
Landscaping & Business Assessments:
- Conduct comprehensive landscape studies and market reports to support strategic projects
- Enhance landscaping and market understanding within the food and beverage ingredients sector
- Assess value chains to identify opportunities for growth in the Taste & Wellbeing (T&W) area
Company Profiling:
- Perform in-depth analyses of selected companies of interest to Givaudan
- Draw conclusions about the companies on their strategic fit with Givaudan
M&A Support:
- Help with M&A plans by scouting and selecting potential targets
- Manage the M&A company database, ensuring a pipeline of targets
- Provide recommendations to support informed decision-making
Strategy Development:
- Produce insightful reports on strategic plans through market analysis and opportunity identification
- Facilitate strategy/business development projects, contributing to the execution of T&W strategy
Your professional profile includes:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field
- Experience with strategy, business development, or market analysis
- At least 1 year Food & Beverage Ingredients knowledge required
- Passionate about analytics and the experienced to summarize complex information into applicable insights
- Strategic mindset, business savvy, detail orientated and agile
- Expert in communication and presenting to convey findings to important stakeholders
- Experience in data analysis tools and market research methodologies
- Business fluent in English; of advantage additional language skills
