About This Opportunity

As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will be a key contributor to Ericsson’s procurement strategy—ensuring that we source products, services, and solutions in a way that maximizes value for both our company and our customers. You’ll join a proactive, cross-functional team focused on managing supplier relationships, mitigating risk, and driving innovation.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Identify and select suppliers and engineering partners that align with project goals and business needs
• Lead the full end-to-end sourcing process, including RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs
• Negotiate supplier terms and contracts to meet both Ericsson’s standards and specific project requirements
• Ensure sourcing activities adhere to legal, ethical, and corporate compliance standards, including Ericsson’s Code of Conduct
• Support internal stakeholders to follow procurement “Golden Rules” and compliance procedures
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing suppliers
• Resolve supplier-related issues and manage contract escalations
• Ensure alignment between supplier deliverables and customer commitments
• Provide market insights and sourcing intelligence to inform strategic decisions
• Follow global procurement processes and effectively use sourcing tools and systems
  
  

What You Bring

• A university degree or equivalent professional experience
• At least 5 years of experience in strategic procurement, ideally in telecommunications or a related industry
• Language fluency in Dutch and English, and a good command of German
• Strong knowledge of local procurement laws and regulations
• Proven experience in negotiations and supplier relationship management
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly to Düsseldorf, Germany
