As a Strategic Architect, you will partner with Lead Sales Specialists to deliver solutions to their customer base. In this position you will act as an advisor to the sales team as well as client stakeholders for all pre-sales activities. These activities will include developing/designing network architecture solutions as well as requirements for all services levels including hardware and software.

The right person will have strong technical acumen and the ability to analyze customer’s business needs as well as the ability to build long-lasting, trusted relationships in a sales environment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Experience working in a pre-sales role selling networking equipment or network solutions
  • Ability to communicate, both oral and written, on complex technical and sales issues to a variety of audiences, including executive-level technical decision-makers
  • Ability to make and communicate relevant connections between proposed technical solutions and customers' business requirements.
  • Strong Partner with the sales organization and cross-functional teams to close large, complex deals.
  • Will use in-Partner with Account Management team, Collaborate with SE, Product Specialists, Field Marketing, SDR’s, Partner Account Managers, etc. as well as Juniper’s channel partners.
  • Support and understand the Region being supported and partner with sales team to land and expand business in new accounts.
  • Design and architect solutions for customers that integrate multiple solutions and services.
  • Design reference architectures for key clients
  • Experience deploying and managing Network solutions, including routing and switching, wireless, cloud, security, automation, and network edge.
  • Understand both the strategic marketing and technology strategy of our solution partners and use this knowledge to influence customer Network decisions.
  • Facilitate the technical portion of a complex opportunity providing leadership in Wired, Wireless, Network, Security, Automation, Cloud and Services including teaming with the greater architect community to craft end- to- end solutions.

Required Experience:

  • BA or BS degree or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience helping organizations develop, deploy, and manage Network solutions across a wide variety of environments.
  • Strong proposal writing skills
  • Previous experience as a sales engineer or architect.
  • Cisco certifications – CCIE (desired, not required)

Minimum Salary: $244,480.00

Maximum Salary:$351,440.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $244,480.00 and $351,440.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper’s pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
