Summary

Job Title: Store Supervisor (F&B industry)

Reports to: Operation Manager


Job Summary:

The Store Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations in a food and beverage outlet. This includes managing staff, ensuring high-quality customer service, maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting the outlet’s profitability through efficient operations. The supervisor acts as a bridge between the service staff and management, ensuring smooth communication and workflow.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Management:

  • Supervise and coordinate all front-of-house activities during shift operations.
  • Ensure smooth opening, running, and closing of the outlet.
  • Monitor and maintain service standards and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner.


2. Staff Supervision:

  • Assist in scheduling shifts and managing staff rosters.
  • Conduct daily briefings, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
  • Train new and existing staff in service protocols and outlet procedures.
  • Motivate team members and foster a positive working environment.


3. Customer Service:

  • Ensure excellent guest experience through prompt, courteous, and professional service.
  • Engage with guests to gather feedback and improve service quality.
  • Maintain a visible presence in the dining area during peak periods.


4. Inventory and Stock Control:

  • Monitor stock levels of supplies, beverages, and equipment.
  • Assist in ordering and receiving stock.
  • Reduce wastage and ensure proper storage of items.


5. Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
  • Monitor cleanliness and maintenance of the outlet.
  • Conduct regular checks of the dining area and service equipment.


6. Financial Assistance:

  • Assist with daily sales reports, cash handling and billing procedures.
  • Support cost control initiatives and upselling efforts to increase revenue.


Requirements:

  • Min. 3 years of proven experience in a supervisory role in F&B or hospitality
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to in fast-paced environments and flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of POS systems and basic administrative tasks.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food safety regulations and inventory management.
  • Excellent communication both in Bahasa and English.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
