Role Overview

Reporting to the Head of Operations, as the Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of store operations while cultivating an exceptional shopping experience. With a strong focus on made-to-measure services, you will serve as the face of the brand, ensuring clients receive a premium and personalised experience. Your leadership will drive sales, nurture client relationships, and uphold the brand’s reputation for excellence.


Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership and Team Management

  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team aligned with the brand's values.
  • Motivate and manage staff to achieve sales targets and deliver impeccable service.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching.

 

2. Made-to-Measure Expertise

  • Deliver a seamless made-to-measure experience, from consultation to delivery.
  • Educate clients on fabric, fit, and customisation options to create unique garments.
  • Collaborate with tailors and suppliers to ensure timely production and exceptional quality.

 

3. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, fostering loyalty.
  • Maintain a robust client book and use CRM tools to track client preferences and purchasing history.
  • Host exclusive events to showcase collections and engage the local community.

 

4. Store Operations

  • Ensure the store meets visual merchandising and operational standards.
  • Manage inventory, including made-to-measure orders, ready-to-wear collections, and accessories.
  • Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and KPI achievement.

 

5. Brand Representation

  • Function as an ambassador for New and Lingwood, promoting the brand in-store and externally.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, tailoring techniques, and competitor activity.
  • Uphold the heritage and ethos of the brand in all client and team interactions.


Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Store Manager or similar role, preferably in luxury menswear or tailoring.
  • Expertise in made-to-measure services, with a passion for personalised client experiences.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on performance and development.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and clienteling skills.
  • Solid understanding of store operations, including sales targets, KPIs, and stock management.
  • A keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and craftsmanship.
