Role: Storage & Backup Administrator

Location: Navi Mumbai

Experience: 6 yrs

Responsibilities:

Exhibits comprehensive knowledge of server, backup, storage, and networking technologies

• Participate in short- and long-term planning effort with stakeholders IT groups
• Perform Level 3 issue assessment and resolution on backup and storage systems
• Investigate alternative methods to expedite problem resolution
• Recommend procedures and controls for problem resolution or create temporary solutions until permanent solutions can be implemented

Requirements:

• Experience managing current backup technologies
• Prior experience with Clumio, Veeam, and Rubrik a plus
• Experience managing current storage technologies
• Prior experience with NetApp and Pure
• Experience implementing and managing object storage
• Experience with PowerShell, PowerCLI, and VMware
• Strong Knowledge about the Security Groups and provide the permissions to these groups.
• Good Knowledge of SAN Switch and the SAN Zoning in the SAN Switches.
• Exposure to physical servers and/or virtualized environments such as VMware vSphere's vCenter Server Appliance, ESXi hosts, virtual machines, SAN datastores, host bus adapters fiber connectivity, and/or VM/Host distributed resource schedules groups/rules
