Flexible hours, 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

Overview for the Stock Controller / FLT:

The Flavour Network have have partnered with a growing food business in Northampton to recruit a Stock Controller / FLT to join their team. This is a hands-on role where you will be actively involved in managing stock levels, ensuring inventory processes run smoothly, and supporting production and purchasing teams, a large part of the role will be on the Forklift so you must have a valid licence and experince. If you have experience in stock control and hold an FLT license, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities for the Stock Controller / FLT:

  • Maintain accurate daily stock levels for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
  • Follow stock control processes to optimize inventory and ensure efficient operations.
  • Work closely with production and purchasing teams to forecast and manage stock requirements.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and suggest improvements for operational efficiency.
  • Operate forklifts (Bendi training will be provided if required, with a bonus for candidates already possessing the license).
  • Adhere to health and safety standards at all times within the warehouse environment.

Essential Requirements for the Stock Controller / FLT:

  • Experience in stock control with a valid FLT license (Bendi preferred, but not required).
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, flexible work environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Health and safety awareness and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
