As a Stock Administrator at Arete, you will be responsible for all activities associated with the administration of the company's Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), 401(k), and any other applicable retirement benefits. Duties include promoting the ESOP throughout the company by educating our employees on its benefits. Act as the liaison with third-party administrators (TPA) for the retirement benefits programs and ensure compliance with the rules of the plans and that all plan timelines are met. Ability to work with the TPA on coordination of administrative duties including census preparation and verification, verification of Statement of Accounts allocation, verification of participant statements, distributions, and diversifications. Duties also include ensuring completion of all required plan testing, 5500 questionnaire completion, and coordinating the 5500 audits, and any action items that result from audit. This position is based in our Northridge, CA office. This is an exempt, full-time position.

The salary range for this role is $70,000 to $90,000; however, Arete considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to: the position and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
Other Requirements
U.S. citizenship is required to meet position eligibility.
Selected applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Successful passage of a criminal background screen is required to meet position eligibility. Areté will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring.
Successful passage of a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug test is required to meet position eligibility.
