The Staff Quality Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained in A/R Optimizer. This position will involve hands-on testing, developing and executing test strategies, creating automated test scripts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to continuously improve product quality and the efficiency of the testing process.

What You Will Do

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

  • QA Strategy Development: Develop and execute test strategies, plans, and cases for web, mobile, and enterprise software applications. Ensure testing aligns with functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Test Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and reliability. Evaluate and utilize appropriate automation tools.
  • Manual Testing: Conduct manual testing for complex scenarios or features where automation is not feasible. Engage in exploratory testing and maintain detailed testing documentation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and business analysts to understand product features, and requirements, and ensure seamless communication throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Quality Metrics Analysis: Track and analyze quality metrics such as defect rates, test coverage, and execution status to identify improvement areas and enhance product quality.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA). Collaborate with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues effectively.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, including identifying opportunities for automation and implementing enhancements to improve overall product quality.
  • Release Validation: Ensure software releases meet established quality standards. Participate in release planning, execute final testing efforts, and provide validation for production deployments.

What You Will Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing
  • Experience with both manual and automated testing practices.
  • Strong experience with QA tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, Postman)
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and/or DevOps.
  • Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java)
  • Understanding of databases and SQL for backend testing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

What We Would Like To See

  • Experience in performance testing and tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Knowledge of security testing methodologies and tools.
