Staff Quality Assurance engineer will be developing and maintaining test automation suites using tools like Squish. Responsible for test creation, testing a large module or a large component and designing features independently, contributing to the immediate team and to other teams across business.
SQA Engineer shall lead software quality engineering discussions and mentoring quality engineers on team to ensure comprehensive testing across multiple devices, focusing on medical applications.
The role involves implementing internationalization and localization testing strategies, conducting accessibility testing, and optimizing test scripts for performance. Strong leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with expertise in User interface. The SQA engineer will foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, staying updated with the latest test automation tools and best practices.

Roles and Responsibilities
In This Role, You Will
- Create verification plan and strategy
- Design, review and approve test cases.
- Design, review, approve automation test scripts.
- Design, Maintain Automation framework.
- Raise defects for platform nonconformance.
- Prepare test setup required for Test execution.
- Participate in technical reviews and contributing to tech discussions.
- Contribute to decision making for make/stop a release.
- Analyze requirements and report out testable/not testable.
- Contribute in driving initiatives such as defining coding standards and processes to ensure quality code is produced.
- Develop and enhance the test infrastructure and continuous integration framework used across teams at the COE.
- Determine testing best practices and principals and promotes them across the organization.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM major (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
Technical Skillset
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Software & Product testing Knowledge.
- Should have experience in leading the verification team.
- Minimum 5-Year experience in Automation tools like SQUISH and knowledge on scripting languages like Python Script.
- Experience in test management tools like ALM, JAMA.
- Experience in Agile methods and metrics.
- Should have very Good Knowledge of software testing methodology / processes and software development life cycle.
- Strong in Manual / Automated testing methodologies
- Sound knowledge of application architectures and databases
- Basic Knowledge of Qt/QML will be added advantage.
Desired Characteristics
Organizational & Operational Experiences
- Knowledge in cyber security standards, secure design and development practices and regulatory requirements
- Experience in medical device regulations, applicable standards, and quality systems.
- Clinical environment knowledge
- Experience in Embedded Device testing
- Adherence to Healthcare QA processes and Standards.
- Write, Interpret and Execute complex manual or automated test scripts.
