Job Description
In your new role you will:
- Apply your in-depth knowledge of technology and Infineon products to be a trusted technical advisor and partner for our customers in their application design
- Drive design-ins of Infineon products with a focus on microcontroller in digital control such as ACDC and DCDC power conversion or motor control in various applications
- Provide premium specialized technical support to the assigned territory and focus customers. You will be enabling design wins by demand creation and positively influencing customer decisions
- Interact closely with 2nd and 3rd level technical teams to solve technical challenges and enable our customer’s applications
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing and Application teams to achieve design-win targets
- Conduct trainings/seminars on target products and applications for Field Application Engineers and customers

Your Profile
You are curious and passionate about working in an international team environment where collaboration and innovation thrive. In addition to your excellent demonstrated technical skills and experience, you are a great team player with strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with people. You also enjoy sharing your knowledge and experience with customers and colleagues. Finally, you are self-motivated, capable of assessing risks and opportunities, and willing to go the extra mile when needed.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
- At least 3 years of working experience, ideally in a Field Application Engineering role within the semiconductor industry or embedded software engineer for power and motor control
- Advanced knowledge of real-time control systems and MCU architectures; experience with digital power conversion software and libraries is desirable
- Experience with multi-level PFC/Inverter designs and topologies
- Experience with advanced real-time analog peripherals such as high-performance ADC and high-resolution PWM
- Curiosity and passion to work in an international and fast-paced team environment to support customer projects
- Solid track record in understanding the technical decision process at the customer and managing internal & external international stakeholders
- Fluent in English. German and Italian language as a plus
- Regular willingness to travel within EMEA region
