Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Embedded Engineer to join our innovative team focused on developing cutting-edge OTA systems for the automotive industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing embedded software solutions that enhance user experience and vehicle functionality.
Compensation: Up to $250k base pay DOE
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded software for automotive OTA systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Implement robust software solutions using C++ and Rust
- Ensure the quality and reliability of software through Test Driven Development (TDD) practices
- Work on Over-The-Air (OTA) update mechanisms and wireless connectivity features
- Optimize system performance on Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
- Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in embedded software development, preferably in the automotive sector
- Strong knowledge of C++ and Rust (Preferred) programming languages
- Experience with RTOS and real-time programming concepts
- Familiarity with wireless communication protocols and OTA update processes
- Understanding of Android Auto development
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment
