Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Embedded Engineer to join our innovative team focused on developing cutting-edge OTA systems for the automotive industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing embedded software solutions that enhance user experience and vehicle functionality.

Compensation: Up to $250k base pay DOE

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software for automotive OTA systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Implement robust software solutions using C++ and Rust
• Ensure the quality and reliability of software through Test Driven Development (TDD) practices
• Work on Over-The-Air (OTA) update mechanisms and wireless connectivity features
• Optimize system performance on Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
• Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience in embedded software development, preferably in the automotive sector
• Strong knowledge of C++ and Rust (Preferred) programming languages
• Experience with RTOS and real-time programming concepts
• Familiarity with wireless communication protocols and OTA update processes
• Understanding of Android Auto development
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment
