Job Title: Staff Data Engineer

Location: Remote USA

Salary: $160,000 - $200,000 DOE

Requirements: Spark, Scala, Computer Science Degree or Related Field

We are a fully funded startup in the AdTech space. We are a remote first company, as well. This role will be designing and implementing robust data infrastructure to power our data-heavy company. You will collaborate with our cross-functional teams to build out our core data pipelines in Spark & Scala.

What You Will Be Doing

• Design and implement robust data infrastructure using Spark with Scala.
• Collaborate with our cross-functional teams to design data solutions that meet business needs.
• Build out our core data pipelines, store data in optimal engines and formats, and feed our machine learning models.
• Leverage and optimize AWS resources.
• Collaborate closely with the Data Science team.
• Successful design and implementation of scalable and efficient data infrastructure.
• Timely delivery and optimization of ETL processes.
• Seamless integration with Data Science for machine learning pipelines.
  
  

What You Need for this Position

• 5+ yrs of experience in data engineering.
• Proven experience building data infrastructure using Spark with Scala.
• Familiarity with data lakes, cloud warehouses, and storage formats.
• Strong proficiency in AWS services.
• Expertise in SQL for data manipulation and extraction.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
