Job Description
Description: The Staff Assistant provides secretarial, clerical and general office support to the department and management in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
Typical Duties
- Provides administrative office support to the management team, including scheduling and/or coordinates the logistics of meetings. Takes, prepares, and finalizes department meeting minutes..
- Establishes and maintains all departmental files, retrieves information as requested, and creates new files as needed.
- Answers the telephone and takes messages and/or inquiries regarding patient reports. Sorts and distributes mail.
- Types, prepares, finalizes, and distributes department meeting minutes, memoranda, letters, and related forms and/or documents.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- 2 plus years of administrative office support to include experience with Professional Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook).
