indie is empowering the automotive revolution with next generation automotive semiconductors and software platforms. We focus on edge sensors spanning multiple modalities including LiDAR, radar, ultrasound and vision for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), autonomous vehicles, connected car, user experience and electrification applications.
In this position, the Analog IC Design Engineer is responsible for managing and executing all activities associated with the concept, development and validation of analog IPs for the company.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the design of new block-level circuits based on marketing requirements and system architecture studies.
- Develop efficient circuit designs to meet project targets and write associated specifications, design reviews, and test requirements.
- Build behavioral models of analog and digital circuits and perform mixed-signal simulations to verify chip- and system-level performance.
- Define layout requirements for layout engineers or independently complete circuit layouts.
- Collaborate closely with system engineers, application engineers, software engineers, and lab and ATE test engineers.
- Test, characterize, and debug designs in the lab as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSc) with 2+ years of experience in custom IC design.
- Strong understanding of CMOS silicon process technologies.
- Experience with PLL/synthesizer design and architecture is a plus.
- Proficiency in transistor-level analog circuit simulation tools and front-end design environments, with extensive experience using Cadence Virtuoso.
- Hands-on experience with mixed-signal IC design and layout.
- Ability to develop and execute AMS-based verification test plans.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for IC characterization in the lab.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Work schedule is Sunday - Thursday.
