Job Title: Staff Accountant

Overview:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented General Accountant to join our finance team. This role focuses on accounts payable, reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting monthly and year-end closes. Ideal for someone with strong GAAP knowledge and experience in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle full-cycle accounts payable and vendor communications
• Prepare journal entries and daily cash reports
• Reconcile accounts (cash, revenue, expenses, payroll)
• Maintain fixed asset and loan schedules
• Assist with month-end/year-end close and audits
• Support 1099s and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of accounting experience (construction industry a plus)
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software (Viewpoint preferred)
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Team player with professional demeanor
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 20 lbs
