We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SRE DevOps Manager to join our dynamic team.
Job Description
As an SRE DevOps Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the reliability, scalability, and performance of our infrastructure and applications. You will lead a team of talented engineers, ensuring the seamless integration and deployment of our services. Your expertise in cloud platforms, CI/CD, containerization, and event-driven architecture will be crucial in driving our DevOps initiatives forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of SRE and DevOps engineers.
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable infrastructure on Azure.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Terraform, ArgoCD, Jenkins, Keycloak, and Liquibase.
- Oversee containerization efforts with Kubernetes, Docker, Kustomize, and RedHat Openshift (OCP).
- Implement and manage event-driven architectures using Kafka, NATS JetStream, and EventHub.
- Utilize programming and scripting skills in Python, Powershell, Shell Scripting, Bash, and C# .Net to automate processes and improve efficiency.
- Monitor system performance and reliability using Datadog and Splunk.
- Manage databases and analytics platforms including Cassandra, Databricks, PowerBI, PostgreSQL, and MSSQL.
- Ensure version control best practices with Github, SVN, and VSTS.
- Oversee API management with Apigee.
- Utilize IDEs such as Visual Studio and VS Code for development tasks.
- Manage ticketing and incident response using Jira, ServiceNow, and PagerDuty.
- Implement and promote Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall methodologies as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar role with a strong background in SRE and DevOps.
- Expertise in cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
- Extensive experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure management.
- Strong knowledge of containerization technologies and orchestration.
- Proficiency in event-driven architecture and related technologies.
- Excellent programming and scripting skills.
- Experience with monitoring tools and database management.
- Familiarity with version control systems and API management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
