Job Title: Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner (Pharma Domain)

Location: Woburn, MA (Hybrid)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner with a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will possess deep domain knowledge, exceptional user story writing skills, and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. You will play a key role in defining and prioritizing product features while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions in the Pharma space.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to pharmaceutical processes, compliance, and data workflows.
• Develop detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and assist in backlog grooming to ensure clarity and alignment.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including product managers, developers, QA, and clinical teams, to prioritize features and refine requirements.
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring mutual understanding of goals and constraints.
• Support the development and delivery of new pharmaceutical products, tools, or enhancements.
• Conduct gap analysis and propose solutions to improve existing processes.
• Maintain strong domain knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Support testing, validation, and training activities as needed.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry.

Required Skills & Experience

• 9+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role in the Pharma or Healthcare domain.
• Proven experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to craft clear, comprehensive user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Deep understanding of pharmaceutical workflows, regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, EMA), and industry-specific data handling.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
• Experience working in US-based pharmaceutical projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with clinical data, drug development processes, or pharmaceutical supply chain management is a plus.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Healthcare, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
