Vaco Staffing is recruiting a Sr. Tax Manager for a client in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
Main duties:
* Lead tax compliance and planning engagements
* Oversee tax engagements related to real estate clients and other key industries
* Serve as a subject matter expert
* Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients
* Mentor and manage team members, supporting their career growth
* Conduct and oversee advanced tax research to stay current with tax laws and regulations
* Collaborate with firm partners to enhance the firm's tax offerings and client experience
* Contribute to business development through client retention, referrals, and participation in firm initiatives
* Participate in internal process improvements
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting (or similar) required
- CPA required
- 7+ years of tax experience in public accounting
- 5+ years of management experience in public accounting
- Experience with partnership tax and real estate are preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
