Client Biosciences is seeking a flow cytometrist who is excited to apply their flow application experience to the development and testing of existing cell analysis systems. No experience with validation testing or product development needed.
Play a critical role on cross-functional product development teams by representing the customer experience. Interface with customers-facing groups to gather critical data that will guide validation testing of products. Assist with usability testing to ensure our products are easy to use and meet user needs. This role will be working on flow cytometer analyzers.
Primary Duties Include
Develop protocols, conduct testing, write reports, and deliver reviews on new or existing products
Lead portions of the definition, design, and execution of validation activities under guidance of validation lead throughout product development
Be the voice of the customer by elevating user needs and identifying product quality issues
Exercise independent judgment and apply solution thinking, problem solving, and troubleshooting
Conduct representative sample prep and flow cytometry experiments to test products
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customer workflows, scientific advancements in flow cytometry, and the competitive landscape
Interface between customers-facing groups and developers/testers by translating customer needs into product requirements and testing workflows
Escalate instrument problems using data-driven summaries
Minimum Qualifications
B.S. in Immunology, Cell Biology, or related discipline
Minimum of 5 years' experience in flow cytometry in academic research, pharma industry, contract research organizations, or other relevant industry
Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting flow cytometers
Experience with sample prep for multi-parameter flow cytometry applications
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with others in a multi-disciplinary team
Should be self-directed with effective time management skills
Excellent listening, written, and oral communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office applications and Windows OS
Desired Qualifications
MS or Ph.D. degree in Immunology, Cell Biology or in a related discipline
Experience in a flow core lab facility
