Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and 10 or more years of relevant experience
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
Experience with civil and military System Safety processes
Experience independently executing functional responsibilities for small to medium sized programs
Experience applying MIL-STD-882E and/or ARP4761 to the development of systems, hardware, or software
Experience with creation of a Hazard Tracking System (HTS), Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and System Safety Assessment (SSA)
Experience with qualitative and quantitative System Safety analysis
The ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Qualifications We Prefer:
Ability to independently execute functional responsibilities for large programs
Experience using DO-178 and/or DO-254 for design development
Experience developing software System Safety analyses
Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using Cameo or similar
Experience in aircraft systems development
Experience writing analyses to meet regulation- or customer-driven requirements
Experience tailoring analyses or requirements to fit size, complexity, schedule, and budget of program
Received certified System Safety training from APT Research, USC, or similar

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $143,487.14 - $197,294.82. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
