Title: Sr. Structural Design Engineer
Location: Jupiter, FL 33477 (90 minutes north of Miami)
Salary: $110,000 - $135,000
Founded in 1988 we are a 70 employee MEP consulting firm that provides structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing & fire protection engineering services to clients across the east coast. Over the past year we've increased our business development headcount by 30% as we make an active effort to expand our reach & gain market share in the space. The markets we most commonly target include commercial, higher education, government, hospitality, healthcare and multi-family homes. For this Sr. Structural Design Engineer position, we're looking for someone with a strong structural design background w/ their degree in Civil (ideally) who can serve as a lead on the team.
What You Will Be Doing
- Design and draft structural engineering systems for a variety of project types including clubhouses, hotels, retail centers, office buildings & marinas.
- Develop study reports, analyses, designs and construction documents related to structural components and building framing systems.
- Review shop submittals, provide review comments and respond to RFI's.
- Coordinate with other disciplines including civil, MEP, FP and architectural.
- Assist Senior Engineers in various engineering-related tasks.
- Provide engineering services for the full lifecycle of projects, from conceptual planning to completed construction.
What You Need For This Position
- B.A. in Civil Engineering (Masters Preferred)
- 3+Years of experience in structural design.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, MS Office Suite & Adobe PDF.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong work ethic with an affinity for rapid learning and great customer service.
- Resilient, positive attitude, collaborative, pro-active, productive and ambitious.
