The Senior Strategic Sourcing Analyst executes sourcing projects and supports sub-category sourcing strategies within one or more spend categories in support of Radius Recycling and its subsidiaries. Possesses subject-matter expertise in one or more sub-category areas of spend. Conducts moderately complex procurement-related research and analysis. Develops, improves, and provides day-to-day support for the Master Data Management framework, P2P Procurement tools, and reporting under the guidance of Supervisor. Works within defined strategy and guidance to organize and complete moderately complex sourcing of products/services to achieve the lowest total cost of ownership and internal customer satisfaction. Provides Strategic Sourcing support to all Category Managers and effectively transitions executed agreements for operational management.
Salary Range: $75,000/year - $85,000/year
Essential Functions:
* Executes strategic sourcing projects in alignment with the strategic goals and direction of the Vice President, Procurement and as assigned by the Procurement Program Manager.
* Provides Subject-Matter Expertise (SME) in one or more sub-category areas of spend and/or Master Data Management and/or Procurement-related tools.
* Completes low to moderately complex analyses for assigned projects to identify category area business, product, and/or service trends.
* Conducts low to moderately complex Requests for Proposal (RFP), Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Quote (RFQ) and Reverse Auctions as required (all RFxs) using available tools and systems.
* Leads/facilitates low to moderately complex sourcing projects and cost reduction opportunities through the full sourcing project lifecycle while managing and mitigating risk.
* Develops and executes negotiation strategies to meet/exceed business objectives.
* Responsible for supporting the data and functionality related to the eProcurement, Project Management and Contracts Management platforms.
* Assists in the report development and delivery for key Procurement tools.
* Leverages lean concepts to drive process improvement and cost reductions without compromising business strategies and/or quality.
* Acts as a corporate liaison to current and potential suppliers and business owners in support of procurement projects and initiatives.
* Supports Lean Project Management and Kaizen events.
* Performs within Company and department standards as well as applicable laws. Conducts negotiations in an ethical manner and safeguards the Company's reputation.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* BA/BS degree generally required. Comparable experience in lieu of degree acceptable. Master of Business Administration (MBA) or MS in a related field preferred.
* 5-7 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain/logistics, or related activities.
* 1-3 years of experience negotiating transportation, corporate services, facilities, capital equipment or IT agreements within a manufacturing or services organization highly preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to develop, communicate, and execute projects and sourcing strategies.
* Demonstrated knowledge of spend analysis techniques.
* Demonstrated ability to collect and analyze financial, market, and technical information to make educated recommendations impacting the sourcing plan or event.
* Ability to facilitate/conduct small to medium-sized group meetings and brief presentations at executive levels.
* Demonstrates strong interpersonal and leadership skills within a collaborative team environment with multiple stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively negotiate with vendors at all levels.
* Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive materials and information.
* Demonstrated experience with MS Office Suite.
