Summary

A full-time, hybrid Senior Staff DevOps opportunity is available with a biotechnology research company based in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with at least nine years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) roles. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in AWS and Kubernetes, bringing deep expertise to support and advance the company’s cloud infrastructure and operations.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 9+ years of experience in a Cloud, DevOps or SRE focused position
  • 7+ years of experience working with AWS and its various services
  • 5+ years of Kubernetes’ experience with expertise in troubleshooting, optimization and cluster management
  • Expertise at least one programming language (Python or Go)
  • Extensive experience with infrastructure-as-code technologies (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK or Pulumi)
  • Experience designing CI/CD pipelines in an enterprise environment (preferably with GitLab)
  • Ability to lead POCs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Kubernetes Certifications
  • Experience with database technologies like MySQL, PostgreSQL or Serverless platforms
  • Experience with AWS services like Athena, Glue, or Sagemaker
