What are we looking for in our Sr Software Engineer?

Sr Software Engineer

Orlando FL (This role is hybrid with onsite expectations from Monday - Thursday and Friday being remote.)

12 months contract

Pay Range: $70/h - $80/h on W2, DOE

Responsibilities:

You will report to Team Lead, Attractions Operational Technology, DataOps.

• Design, develop or update several next-generation proprietary software packages used by internal partners.
• Gather software design requirements from our internal partners.
• Support the developed software when issues arise.
• Create documentations for the developed software.
• Explain technical solutions in simple terms for our partners and executives.
• Perform observability improvements utilizing various tools.
• Manage existing platform systems.
  
  

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of C# with .NET Framework version 4.8 and higher.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life cycle and QA processes.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Software Design Patterns.
• Experience with revision control software, such as GitHub and GitLab.
• Experience with setting up CI/CD pipelines.
• Basic Experience with Docker commands.
• 2+ years experience in relational databases like SQL server and, MSQL.
  
  

Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent technical background.
  
  

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with Service NOW
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technology, such as Docker
• Fundamental Networking experience
• Knowledge of Web API
• Experience with Programmable Logic controller (PLC)
• Experience with Atlassian Tools such as Jira & Confluence
• Experience with Linux operating system
• Experience with Agile development methods
• Experience with automated testing.
• Experience with Grafana
• Experience with server hardware
• Master of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent technical background.
