What You'll Do
Design, develop, and maintain software for Tesla’s current and next-generation enterprise solutionsDeliver end-to-end, fully functional features—from requirements gathering through production deploymentBuild and own new modules and enhance existing components of Tesla’s Payments Reconciliation PlatformDevelop scalable solutions using technologies such as .NET, Kafka, MySQL/MongoDB and other open-source frameworksEnsure high technical standards, code quality and robust testing frameworksContribute to and expand Tesla’s internal knowledge base by producing clear, concise documentationAutomate repetitive development tasks to improve efficiency and reliabilityDirectly work with stakeholders to understand pain points, proposing solutions, and shipping them
What You'll Bring
Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience3+ years of industry experienceStrong foundation in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and microservicesProficiency in one or more modern backend frameworks (e.g., C# .NET, Java)Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, MySQL/Postgres)Familiarity with pub/sub asynchronous programming (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka)Understanding of container orchestration and deployment tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Helm, Jenkins, ArgoCD)Exposure to infrastructure-related tasks such as distributed tracing and metric collection (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) is a plusExperience working with or building workflow/orchestration systems (eg. Temporal, Netflix Conductor, Cadence)

Software Development Engineer - $126,768 - $190,152/annual salarySr Software Development Engineer - $156,256 - $234,384/annual salary
+ cash and stock awards + benefits for all levels
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
