**Job Title: Quality Technician**
**Job Description**
Join a team of innovators who design, engineer, and manufacture products, platforms, and solutions at a state-of-the-art facility in Lewis Center, Ohio. As a Quality Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and precision in our manufacturing processes.
**Responsibilities**
+ Utilize standard and advanced measurement equipment/tools, and manage quality records and documentation.
+ Apply strong mechanical Dimensioning and Tolerancing (ANSI Y14.5) techniques.
+ Verify correct layout and installation of wiring, cables, subassemblies, hardware, and components.
+ Ensure Engineering requirements for mechanical and electrical components, drawings and specifications are met.
+ Inspect plated and painted areas for uniformity.
+ Follow Engineering and Inspection documents to ensure all assembly, inspecting, and testing steps are performed according to specifications and PO requirements.
+ Perform sampling, inspections, documentation review, data entry, and record keeping as required; prepare necessary documents for shipment of products.
+ Assist management in conducting and documenting formal procedures, inquiries, and investigations to determine the cause of quality issues.
+ Interact effectively with coworkers and management to resolve problems.
+ Coordinate or perform calibration of all equipment and fixtures.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1-5 years in quality control in a manufacturing setting.
+ Proficiency with Quality Measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
+ Working knowledge of AS9100 or TS16949 standards.
+ Strong math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
+ Proficiency in Excel and data entry.
+ Ability to lift 40 pounds.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ CMM experience is a plus.
+ 5-10 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance.
+ Supervisory experience and team leadership skills.
+ Experience with blueprint reading, calipers, micrometers, metal fabrication, machine setup, and CNC programming.
+ High School diploma required.
+ Prior inspection experience and familiarity with IPC 610 and J-STD-001 and IPC-620 standards highly desired.
+ Organizational skills, good verbal and written communication skills.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

**Work Environment**
Work in a clean, climate-controlled environment that fosters teamwork and collaboration. The facility operates on a unique 1st shift schedule, with a rotating weekly pattern that includes a 44-hour week followed by a 36-hour week.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LEWIS CENTER, Ohio.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
