We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer with 6-8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in API Testing, proficiency in Postman, and a strong foundation in Manual Testing. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Responsibilities:

API Testing:

· Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for API testing.

· Collaborate with development teams to understand API functionality and ensure thorough test coverage.

· Identify and report defects, track issues to resolution, and work closely with developers to ensure timely bug fixes.

Proficient in Postman:

· Utilize Postman for creating and managing API requests, testing workflows, and automating API testing processes.

· Develop and maintain Postman collections for efficient and effective testing of APIs.

· Stay updated on Postman features and best practices to enhance testing processes.

Manual Testing:

· Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications to ensure functionality, usability, and performance meet specified requirements.

· Document and communicate test results, issues, and risks to the development team.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and provide input for test planning.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· 5 to 7 years of proven experience in API Testing with a strong understanding of RESTful APIs.

· Proficiency in using Postman for API testing and automation.

· Solid foundation in Manual Testing techniques and methodologies.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

· Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

· Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

· Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
