Project Manager – Medical Device Industry

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and drive project success within the medical device industry. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory standards while maintaining the highest quality. The ideal candidate has a strong background in project management and a deep understanding of medical device development.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Project Planning & Execution

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation.
• Define objectives, deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to drive project success.
• Manage budgets and timelines, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO, internal procedures, and customer requirements.

✅ Stakeholder Communication

• Act as the primary contact for external customers.
• Provide regular project updates to Engineering Management and stakeholders.

✅ Risk Management

• Identify potential risks (e.g., resource constraints, budget overruns, timeline delays) and develop mitigation strategies.
• Resolve project roadblocks to maintain momentum and quality.

✅ Continuous Improvement

• Analyze project outcomes and implement best practices for future success.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning within the team.

✅ Compliance & Quality

• Maintain knowledge of Company Quality Management System (QMS), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Complaint Handling.

Qualifications

✔ Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years in the medical device industry.
• 2+ years of Project Management experience.
• PMP, Six Sigma, or advanced certifications are a plus.

• Strong understanding of medical device development and regulatory requirements.
• Proven success in managing projects from start to finish.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project).
