Summary

Hybrid (Tues, Wed, Thurs on site in Lafayette, Mon and Fri can be remote) 24 month contract with possible conversion to permanent employment. As a Sr Project Manager within the Released Product Management (RPM) division, you will be steering the course to meet business needs while upholding design intent in the Advanced Surgical Technologies Business Unit. This pivotal role will see you harmonizing and coordinating various initiatives within the RPM program and managing dependencies with New Product Development efforts. In close collaboration with Project Management, Released Product Engineering, Research & Development, Quality, Operations, and other cross-functional domains, you will drive the delivery of projects to our valued patients and customers. Leads or leverages cross functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for new product development and ongoing lifecycle management of products, processes and therapies. Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Manages the development and implementation process of a company’s products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products and processes. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Monitors the project from initiation through delivery. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. Gathers requirements, works on requirements planning, requirements elicitation and requirements management to ensure they meet demands of project’s key stakeholders. Communicates with stakeholders, obtains stakeholder engagement to ensure the end products or processes will solve the business problems. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 4 years of relevant experience Experience communicating and conducting briefings with senior or executive leadership regarding critical program outcomes Experience leading diverse and complex projects and programs and coordinating multiple teams to execute concurrent, interdependent projects. Knowledge of medical device R&D, product development, and clinical/regulatory procedures. Strong ability to adapt and to work independently under pressure, reacting to changing priorities. Strong written and oral communication skills and able to influence all customers (both internal and external) on issues that impact the business and its technical service and product strategies.
