Description

We are assisting a reputable client in seeking an experienced consultant to support our Bill.com software implementation project and assist in optimizing their financial operations. This role requires expertise in Bill.com implementation, general ledger accounting, and accounts receivable management. The consultant will play a key role in process mapping, system cleanup, and ensuring financial accuracy. This project offers a hybrid working environment out of downtown Pittsburgh, with parking provided for on-site days.

Key Responsibilities

• Bill.com Implementation: Lead and support the implementation of Bill.com, including configuration, integration, and training to ensure a seamless rollout.
• Process Mapping: Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze current workflows, map processes, and optimize financial operations within GL and AR.
• GL Cleanup: Review and reconcile the general ledger, identifying and resolving discrepancies to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• AR Support: Evaluate accounts receivable processes, clean up aged balances, and implement system improvements to streamline workflows.
• Training & Documentation: Provide training to internal staff and document key workflows for ongoing support and maintenance.
  
  
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience implementing Bill.com, including configuration and team training.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting principles, including reconciliation and process optimization.
• Proven expertise in accounts receivable operations and system cleanup.
• Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (experience working in hybrid setups is a plus).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration across teams.
