Role Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Management Process Engineer to join our

growing team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing

robust project management processes, methods and tool across our organization and with our

partner brands. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to establish best

practices for the project management disciplines like resource, task, schedule, maturity and

risk management ensuring seamless integration and alignment across all vehicle development

stages. This is a mid-level position offering a unique opportunity to contribute to the future of

electric mobility.

Responsibilities

Process, Methods and Tool Development & Implementation:

• Develop and document comprehensive project management processes, including
  
  

disciplines like resource, task, schedule, maturity and risk management.

• Establish standardized methodologies and tools for the project management
  
  

disciplines.

• Define and implement workflows for sharing project management artefacts and
  
  

collaboration across internal teams and external partners.

• Collaboration & Communication:
• Work closely with program management, product planning and other stakeholders
  
  

to ensure alignment on project management.

• Work with partner brands to facilitate a seamless project management interface
  
  

and ensure alignment.

• Create and maintain training documentation for the project management process.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
• Monitor and analyze project management-related metrics to track process
  
  

effectiveness.

• Stay up-to-date with industry standards and emerging technologies related to
  
  

project management.

• Tool Management:
• Assist in the selection, deployment, and administration of project management
  
  

tools.

• Provide user support and training for project management tools.
• Design a light weight project management tool chain using the Atlassian Tool suite
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management as well as process, methods
  
  

and tools design, ideally in the automotive and software industry.

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range/Hourly Rate for California Based Applicants: $107,500.00 - $133,100.00. (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Benefits Summary: Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment.
