Position Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Senior Project Development Manager with a background in project or program management to oversee the planning and execution of clean energy infrastructure projects. This role involves guiding projects through all phases of development, working collaboratively across internal teams and external partners to bring impactful energy solutions to life. The ideal candidate brings a proactive, strategic mindset and a track record of successfully navigating complex technical and regulatory landscapes.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full development cycle of large-scale renewable or infrastructure projects, from early-stage planning through implementation.
  • Oversee permitting, interconnection, and entitlement processes across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Coordinate project schedules, budgets, and resource planning to ensure goals and milestones are met.
  • Conduct due diligence, including technical assessments and feasibility reviews, to support project advancement.
  • Identify and address risks, providing clear guidance and updates to stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with local agencies, utilities, contractors, and community groups.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental and regulatory standards throughout project timelines.
  • Collaborate with engineering, legal, and external partners to align technical and operational goals.

Ideal Experience & Skills:

  • Degree in Engineering, Environmental Studies, or a related technical field; equivalent professional experience also considered.
  • 8+ years of experience in infrastructure or energy project development, with a focus on renewable or sustainable systems.
  • Strong background in project or program management, preferably in a consulting, technical services, or multidisciplinary setting.
  • Experience working in geographically diverse or logistically challenging environments.
  • Excellent organizational and stakeholder engagement skills; able to balance detail-oriented planning with big-picture strategy.
