CV Consulting Inc. in Wexford, PA is hiring Sr. Programmer Analysts to help develop prototypes and perform complex application coding and programming. Individuals will apply advanced theoretical knowledge of Computer Science and Engineering principles and concepts to design SOA based applications.
Specific responsibilities include the following:
Write complex requirements, technical specifications, and use cases.
Develop application design at an advanced level, according to business requirements.
Use various technologies such as SOAP, AXIS, WSDL, XML, XSLT, XML Schema, Spring, and Hibernate, and Java & J2EE (including JSP, EJB, JDBC, STRUTS, SQL, XML, HTML and associated technologies), including applying knowledge of Struts 2, Windows, Oracle, DB2, and SQL database environment to perform daily tasks.
Create and deliver high-level and complex data-driven reports.
Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas that require modification and improvement.
Document all phases of the analysis, design, programming, implementation, and maintenance of technical projects.
Create user documentation for on-line systems, reports, procedures, and training materials.
Create new and extend existing operational documentation.
Consult closely with management and occasionally staff related to projects and tasks.
Consult colleagues concerning maintenance and performance of software systems.
Assist with review and writing of requirements to support development tasks.
This position does not supervise any other personnel.
REQUIREMENTS: : Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering or a related IT field of study that provided the required knowledge and abilities, and three (3) years of related experience that provided the required skills and abilities.
In lieu of the stated primary education and experience requirements, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering or a related IT field of study that provided the required knowledge and abilities, and five (5) years progressively responsible, post-degree, and related experience that provided the required skills and abilities.
In addition, this position requires demonstrable knowledge, experience and proficiency with the following:
SOAP, AXIS, WSDL, XML, XLST, XML Schema, Spring and Hibernate
Java and J2EE ((including JSP, EJB, JDBC, STRUTS, SQL, XML, HTML and associated technologies)
Struts 2, Windows, Oracle, DB2, and SQL Database.
