Scopely is seeking a
Senior Producer – Tech & Live Service to join the Slate Development Group and support a high-profile mobile game project, based in Shanghai.

As a member of the Slate Development Group, you'll help shape our strategic editorial, greenlighting, and platform development frameworks, contributing directly to the launch and ongoing success of one of Scopely’s most ambitious new titles.
What You Will Do
As the Senior Producer – Tech & Live Service, you will lead coordination across technical, operational, and live service disciplines. You'll ensure our development and publishing teams are aligned, core techs are implemented and maintained properly, and our live operations are supported with the structure and rigor needed for a top-tier mobile game.
You will report to the Executive Producer and work closely with all business stakeholders to ensure that our overall processes and capabilities are optimized to guide our game through the various stages of development, release and live service.
- Well Coordinated Implementations: Collaborating with development, publishing, tech, and ops teams to ensure we are implementing the right tech stacks at the correct order/priorities.
- Stability and Scalability: Post implementation making sure all our techs are monitored, stable and scaled at the pacing we planned for.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to publishing activities and proactively develop mitigation strategies to ensure the game’s successful launch and post-launch support.
- Optimize Operations: Collaborate with the Executive Producer to set up and refine overall processes, ensuring that all workflows are optimized for efficiency and effectiveness across the game’s lifecycle.
- Implement Best Practices for Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various cross-functional teams like QA, marketing, PR, legal, and Customer Support to ensure seamless coordination and that all publishing activities align with the game’s launch strategy and ongoing support.
- Facilitate Publisher & Developer Communication: Act as a communication channel for specific topics between the publishing and development team, ensuring that all parties are informed, aligned, and working towards the same goals.
- Support External Development: Lead and coordinate with developers to ensure timely progress on specific areas of focus (e.g., compliance, tracking and debugging etc.) and alignment across all relevant areas.
- Take a Hands-On Approach: Be ready to dive into the details and assist with hands-on tasks whenever necessary, whether it’s troubleshooting issues, creating documentation, or directly supporting the team to keep the project moving forward.
What Will You Need:
- Fluency in English and Mandarin
- At least 7 years of production experience in the video game industry, including a minimum of 4 years specifically with technology domains.
- Proven track record in managing and coordinating production efforts across various stages of pre-release, release and post release for mobile live-service games.
- Demonstrated experience managing the process of planning, executing and maintaining consistent output of request gathering, tech evaluation, tech implementation and tech testing.
- Proven track record of delivering results, coupled with a strong passion for effectively using and collaborating with various applications (e.g., Google Suite, Jira, etc.) to drive project success, adapting as necessary to meet job demands..
- Demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive schedules, monitor task progress and deliverables, and achieve timely completion of project objectives. Proven experience in organizing activities and providing oversight to ensure project adherence and meet deadlines.
- Experience working with executives in a fast-paced, agile environment. The ideal candidate will approach the job with a great sense of urgency, enjoy taking the initiative, thrive at juggling multiple priorities, and seamlessly shift gears as needed.
- Analytical, observant, and strategic, applying the right balance between data and qualitative information to decision-making.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
