**Job purpose:**
Executes tactical work in procurement - places POs, sets up suppliers, unblocks invoices & maintains automation for the scope covered Leads. Supports operations teams to deliver against key performance indicators
**Responsibilities:**
+ Sr. Procurement Buyer places purchase orders, to meet internal customer requirements. Ensures Purchase Orders are placed within 24 hours of receipt of complete requisition. Managed changes to existing purchase orders to ensure alignment to commercial agreements
+ Initiates and follows through to completion new supplier setups or changes. Collaborates with category teams and vendor master to ensure standard process is followed
+ Deals with Invoice discrepancies resolving all issues relating to procurement invoice holds. Collaborates with Accounts Payables to ensure invoice holds are eliminated
+ Works closely with and supports Category teams and Sourcing Operations teams by providing internal customer/supplier feedback and assuring End to End Purchase to Pay Compliance
+ Supports implementation and adoption of automation tool to enable 85% transaction automation for the scope managed
+ Executes Compliance checks and audits to ensure policies are being followed
+ Supports on-board / train new hires and supports manager in handling escalations or more complex tactical activities
+ Supports Procurement leadership, expertise, and best value solutions to the Procurement Operations organization by delivering best in class operations for the scope covered
+ Supports implementation and the follow up of the procurement processes for the area of responsibilityIs proficient in use of procurement tools, processes and policies needed to manage assigned scope
+ Supports KPIs for the areas of responsibility and ensures highest levels of procurement operations services are delivered as per business needs
+ Works closely with Category teams, Sourcing Operations teams, Functional Transformation, Accounts Payables, to drive P2P process improvement
+ Is responsible for Compliance. Runs regular self-assessment audits, draws insights and implements corrective actions where gaps are found
+ Ensures adoption of standard processes and tools
+ Uses coaching to connect and improve talent in the team
+ Leads by example and is recognized as a go-to resource to solve complex procurement operations challenges at global level
**Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge**
+ Bachelors of accounting degree required.
+ Minimum 5 years experience in a supply field
+ Microsoft Office knowledge.
+ Provides leadership in areas ofsite/business supply
+ Ability to work in a globalorganization undergoing transformation - change agent
+ Strong comprehensive technicalknowledge of procurement/sourcing; experience in outsourcing criticalservices from within the company to third-party providers; planning,negotiations and agreements/contract management
+ Knows how business works;knowledgeable in policies, practices and industry trends in assignedcommodity area and can quantify potential impacts to business results
+ Strong experience/knowledge ofbusiness principles
