The Sr. Pricing Analyst works cross functionally with Sales, Product Management and Finance, the role is responsible for both Pricing Analytics (determining optimal prices) and Pricing Operations (making those optimal prices happen). With more than 20,000 SKUs and 100 customers to manage prices for, the role requires an interest in data analytics, understanding of financial principles, and strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Pricing Analytics:
* Market research on channel prices including, OE Dealer, Retail, WD, and Competitor
* Cost analysis on both manufacturing costs and sourcing costs
* Trend analysis on historical and future SKU level demand
* Financial modeling of expected impact of price adjustments
* Monitoring and communication of actual vs forecasted results
Pricing Operations:
* Preparing quotes for new business opportunities
* Preparing price lists and files for Sales team in support of pricing updates
* Supporting R&D efforts by pricing and releasing new SKUs to the BBB catalog
* Loading price adjustments to IT systems, including ASR and Oracle
* Responding to customer inquiries regarding SKU level prices
Minimum Requirements
* Automotive Aftermarket experience is a must
* Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or mathematics
* Proficient in analytics tools, such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, PowerBI or Tableau
* Understanding of statistical analysis and Six Sigma principles
