Job Title: Sr. Preconstruction Manager

Position Overview
The Sr. Preconstruction Manager is responsible for overseeing the preconstruction phase of various projects, ensuring that all aspects are meticulously planned and aligned with the client's vision and budget. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, managing project timelines, and leading a team to deliver exceptional project outcomes from inception to execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preconstruction team in the development of project budgets and schedules.
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best terms for the company.
- Review and analyze architectural drawings and construction documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct site analysis to assess project feasibility and identify potential challenges.
- Implement value engineering practices to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
- Foster strong client relations by maintaining clear communication and addressing any concerns timely.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, guiding them through the preconstruction process.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations throughout the preconstruction phase.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in preconstruction management or a similar role.
- Proven skills in budgeting and contract negotiation are essential.
- Familiarity with estimating, scheduling, and construction documents is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of value engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent team leadership and client relations skills.
- Knowledge of building codes and site analysis techniques.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings.
