Job Description:

Senior Operations and Maintenance Engineer will be responsible to ensure the successful transition of gas production facilities from project phase to operational readiness as part of our Project Management Team. Later on, once the new gas production facilities are operated, this position will oversee the operations and maintenance of our gas production facilities.

Project phase:

• Operational Readiness Planning: Lead the development and execution of operational readiness plans for new gas production facilities, ensuring alignment with company objectives and industry best practices.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks associated with the commissioning and start-up of gas production facilities.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, project management, safety, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless integration of operational requirements during facility design and construction phases.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure all operational activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements and company standards, conducting audits and inspections as necessary.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation related to operational readiness activities and prepare reports for senior management, outlining progress, challenges, and recommendations.

Operations phase:

• Oversee daily operations of gas production facilities to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor production processes, identifying and addressing any issues that arise.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency and safety.
• Collaborate with production teams to optimize gas recovery and minimize downtime.
• Develop and execute maintenance strategies, including preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained to the highest standards, complying with industry regulations and company policies.
• Lead root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule downtime and manage resources effectively.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in engineering or a related field.
• 13+ years of experience in within the upstream oil and gas industry/PSC company.
• Strong understanding of gas production processes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven experience in managing maintenance programs and teams.
• Solid Technical expertise in upstream oil and gas operations and maintenance.
