Profile
Experience in leading and executing the penetration testing of network, Web, and Mobile application, red teaming engagements, vulnerability assessments, source code review, and security consulting projects. He/She will act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them understand their security risks and implement effective mitigation actions and strategies. This role requires excellent communication and presentation skills, the ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, and a passion for staying up to date on the latest security threats and technologies. The Senior Consultant will also play a key role in developing Cyberteq’s service offerings and mentoring junior offensive team members.
Responsibilities
- Penetration Testing and Vulnerability Assessments:
- Perform vulnerability assessments penetration testing engagements against a wide range of client systems, including networks, cloud environments, web applications, mobile applications, APIs and Source code review.
- Develop and execute custom exploits to demonstrate the real-world impact of vulnerabilities.
- Provide clear and concise reports documenting findings and recommendations.
- Work with clients to develop remediation plans and track progress.
- Red Teaming and Adversary Simulation:
- Design and execute realistic red team exercises to simulate advanced attacks against client environments.
- Develop custom attack scenarios based on threat intelligence and client-specific risk profiles.
- Work closely with client security teams to improve their detection and response capabilities.
- Provide detailed reports and presentations outlining the results of red team exercises.
- Security Consulting:
- Provide expert guidance to clients on security, and best practices
- Conduct security architecture reviews and provide recommendations for improving security posture.
- Provide training and awareness programs to client employees.
- Stay up to date on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies.
- Client Engagement and Management:
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients during offensive security engagements.
- Understand client business objectives and tailor security services to meet their specific needs.
- Develop project plans, manage timelines, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide regular updates and address any concerns.
- Service Development and Improvement:
- Contribute to the development and improvement of Cyberteq’s offensive security service offerings.
- Research and evaluate new security tools and technologies.
- Develop and maintain internal documentation and training materials.
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline service delivery.
- Mentoring and Knowledge Sharing:
- Knowledge sharing, mentoring and on job training for Cyberteq’s junior offensive team.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field is required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in offensive security, and consultancy service delivery to clients.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and security technologies.
- Expertise in penetration testing methodologies and frameworks (e.g., OWASP, PTES, NIST).
- Proficiency with penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, Cobalt Strike, and Kali Linux.
- Experience with cloud security technologies and platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with common security vulnerabilities and attack techniques.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong client management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports and presentations.
