Sr. NOC Network Engineer - Wireless NetCuras, Salt Lake’s premier Managed Service Provider, is looking for a talented Sr. NOC Wireless Engineer to be part of our NOC Engineering team. Qualified candidates will not only possess required technical skills, but have excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of customer service and support. This is a M-F, 8-5 position, with occasional evenings and weekend work. Engineer will participate in on-call rotation with other engineers on a rotational basis. (once every 9 weeks). Resumes with broad technical scope/troubleshooting and break/fix experience will move to the top of the pile. NetCuras is located in Bountiful UT. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: · Support and maintain enterprise level customer wireless solutions that may include several technologies. · Support and maintain network hardware and software infrastructure according to best practices, including routers, load balancers, switches, wifi controllers, and firewalls. · Design, architect and troubleshoot Wireless deployments. · Design, architect and troubleshoot switching topologies with Trunks, EtherChannels, Spanning Tree, DHCP Snooping, ARP inspection, etc · Remotely Diagnose problems and solve issues, often under time constraints · Provide network incident response, firewall and VPN management and administration and troubleshooting · Provide network documentation · Monitor network usage, anticipate problems and suggest solutions · Manage incidents and tasks in ticketing system · Work closely with colleagues to meet team goals and improve processes and practices · Remain current on emerging technologies via professional groups, trade magazines, internal and external training, independent research and study, and other avenues available. · Perform network security design and integration · Perform other tasks as requested Qualifications: · B.A. or B.S. in a technical field or a relevant combination of education and experience · CCNA/CCNP preferred. · 5+ years of experience in implementing, managing and supporting enterprise wireless solutions, including Cisco, Aruba and Arista. · Intermediate to expert understanding of several different platforms of wireless solutions. · Understanding of heat-map and AP placement technologies. · Comfortable documenting and explaining wireless topologies · Excellent wireless troubleshooting skills. · Diagram and explain technical solutions to technical and non-technical audiences Benefits: 3 weeks PTO 9 paid holidays Medical and Dental insurance 401K plan Competitive Foosball atmosphere Free lunch Fridays Complimentary Snacks and Drinks Did we mention the Foosball Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Relocation assistance Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Ability to commute/relocate: Bountiful, UT 84010: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: Network troubleshooting: 3 years (Preferred) Wireless: 5 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
