The primary location for both locations is Dallas, Texas, however, the team is comfortable hiring someone that lives anywhere else and is willing to travel for on-site customer visits once a month in Dallas. Job Descriptopn: 1.Senior level engineer:Overall 7-8+ years of experience * 2-3 years of real hands-on experience with Client, Load Balancing, Proxies, Web Application Firewalls- WAF(asset), Application Layer Security, Layer 7 HTTP * Deep dive troubleshooting- packet captures, Web Debugging, and analysis. * Configuring/migrating application services * Manipulating traffic based on the application headers/payload * Web Application Firewall (optional but asset) * Configuring WAF policies * Creating/writing custom signatures * Reviewing security events, tuning, resolving false positives, troubleshooting * Very strong customer-facing experience- being a trusted advisor, able to make important technical decisions, handling architectural review meetings/discussions with customers * Strong networking background(asset) * Automation/programming: Python, YAML, Ansible (asset) 2. Lower Seniority Engineer-Overall 5+ years of experience * Very strong customer-facing experience- acting as a consultant/ trusted advisor, able to make important technical decisions, handling architectural review meetings/discussions with customers. * Security experience with Anti-DDOS solutions * Experience with Radware DefensePro/ other Anti-DDOS solutions * Security analysis/monitoring/security incidents/logs, forensics investigation * Strong networking background must * CCNA, CCNP certificates (asset) * 2-3 years of real hands-on experience with configuring/troubleshooting routing protocols * BGP * OSPF * DNS * Strong experience with packet captures/analysis, working with Wireshark
