What You Will Do (Essential Responsibilities):
- Lead and manage installation, configuration and maintenance of the company’s LAN/WAN data communications network, including infrastructure, end user computers (Mac/Windows/Linux/Mobile), core and edge networks, security/firewalls, and Cloud and Data center operations.
- Perform system monitoring to verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems and to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.
- Maintain and improve operational health of network, server, and cloud infrastructure.
- Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups.
- Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access.
- Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses.
- Work with a cross-functional team (business and technical) to procure necessary hardware and software services.
- Lead and guide the work of technical support staff.
- Employer allows optional hybrid WFH (Work From Home) within commuting distance to the office (San Diego, CA)
What Do You Need to Fit this Role? (Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):
- Master’s Degree or equivalent in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in team leadership position in network administration or IT-related services.
- In lieu of a Master’s Degree and 3 years of experience, employer will accept a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field and 5 years of progressive experience in team leadership position in network administration or IT-related services.
Work experience to include:
- Three years of experience in network or IT administration and support using the following tools and technologies:-
- Office 365 Administration, Azure AD, Azure AADS, Azure Virtual Networks, Intune, and Cloud App Security;-
- Azure SSO, CyberArk Idaptive SSO, and SAML;-
- Access Points, Manage Engine, Atlassian Jira or Confluence, and Ruckus or Ubiquity;-
- Zoom, Slack, RingCentral, and Asset management;-
- SaaS, access badge system, and security cameras;-
- VMware, VSphere, Veeam backup, Druva backup, Sophos endpoint, and Symantec endpoint;-
- Lever, ADP and Envoy; and-
- Miro, and Asana
Three years of experience with computer hardware, datacenter and server room cabling installation and support
- Three years of experience with On-prem Active Directory (Server 2008, 2012, and 2016)
- Three years of experience working in the following environments: Windows or MacOS, iOS and Linux
- Three years of experience working with the following firewalls: Cisco and SonicWall
- Three years of experience working with the following MDM tools: Intune, JAMF, and Manage Engine
- Three years of experience with Mimecast and SIEM tools (AlienVault)8
- Two years of experience in a lead or management role in network administration or IT; must include managing or leading cross-functional teams supporting 24X7 operation (hiring, training, assigning work, and managing staff performance); must include conflict management and resolution experience as well as experience with talent acquisition and talent mentorship
- Providing IT systems support for international and remote locations
- Using the following project management methodologies: Agile and Waterfall.

Wage Range:
$127,962.00 to $176,446.00 per year
