Summary

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop Android mobile application components using .NET MAUI
  • Implement and maintain Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication, including device pairing, data exchange, and firmware updates
  • Integrate and manage cloud APIs, ensuring secure data synchronization and robust error handling
  • Troubleshoot low-level BLE and connectivity issues, with a focus on Android platforms
  • Collaborate closely with firmware, cloud, and QA teams to ensure consistent and reliable system behavior
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning sessions, and architecture discussions
  • Adhere to secure coding standards and contribute to automated testing efforts where applicable

 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in mobile application development
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing Android apps using .NET MAUI or Xamarin
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful API integration and secure data handling practices
  • Familiarity with mobile security best practices, including encrypted storage and authentication mechanisms

 

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), including protocol implementation and device pairing workflows
  • Background in Agile development methodologies
  • Previous experience in medical device, health tech, or other regulated software environments
  • Understanding of FDA, HIPAA, or IEC 62304 standards for mobile software development
