As a Sr. Mechanical Reliability Engineer, you create chemistry by...
* Implementing and documenting mechanical integrity programs, including testing, preventive maintenance, and compliance with inspection codes for vessels, piping, boilers, and other equipment.
* Ensuring repair quality by auditing vendors and performing shop inspections to uphold standards, maintaining boiler code certifications and licenses as required.
* Providing recommendations based on inspection findings, including repair plans, fitness-for-service evaluations, and adjustments to inspection types or frequencies.
* Supporting audits, troubleshooting, and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) while executing corrective actions for reliability improvements.
* Contributing to budget planning, evaluating technological alternatives for repairs, and driving site reliability enhancements through continuous improvement efforts.
* Offering technical expertise on compliance, equipment reliability, and vendor quality standards while ensuring alignment with codes and operating conditions.
* Evaluating inspection data trends to identify potential risks and ensuring proactive intervention strategies are applied.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve mechanical integrity practices and aligning them with operational objectives.
If you...
* Have a Bachelors in engineering (Mechanical Preferred), Construction Management, or Physics.
* Possess 7+ years of experience in Engineering, Inspection, or Construction practices in a chemical/petrochemical or similar manufacturing environment.
* Have analytical, risk management and problem-solving abilities
* Are proficient in Microsoft Office as well as in SAP
