Sr. Mechanical Engineer Sr. Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the design, detailing, and assembly of the automated equipment as well as planning and performing testing programs. Duties and responsibilities Provides guidance to Jr. Mechanical Designers. Be responsible of the job assigned Follows all Paragon Systems Testing safety rules Performs their duties in an ethical and professional manner Follow ISO17025 quality procedures Reviews and interprets technical instructions, methods or standards Design test fixtures and automated equipment Analyze test data Prepares test reports Maintains good housekeeping practices Any additional duties as assigned by the manager Qualifications Minimum 10 years of experience in CAD design Competent in Solidworks Strong understanding of scientific and engineering principles Self-motivated and effective at troubleshooting and meeting tight deadlines Good communication skills both verbal and written A hands-on approach to problem solving Knowledge of pneumatic and electro-mechanical systems Technical knowledge and experience in machine shop equipment Materials and mechanical testing experience will be an asset Job Type: Full-time Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Overtime Ability to commute/relocate: Concord, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: CAD: 5 years (required) Work Location: In person
